Parents’ Weekend Report and Alumni Weekend Update

On October 15, AAD hosted its annual Fall Parents’ Weeken. Festivities kicked off on Friday night at the House, where actives and their parents enjoyed the sweet flavor of Biggum’s BBQ (owned and operated by the parents of Austin DeFoor, ’18).

The following morning, a tailgate and parents meeting was hosted by the AAD aprents association. IN attendance was Brother Clay Carmac, AAD ’89 and father of Mitchell Carmac, ’20. thanks to Brothers Charlie Callahan and Frank story for the assistance during the parent meeting

As of the fall of the season and the ‘Dawgs progress, I’d like to remind all of you that SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, we will be hosting Alumni Weekend. While this football season might not be one to remember, this year of our fraternity certainly is. The seven new brothers that make up the most recent pledge class are intelligent, determined leaders, all excited to facilitate our continued development. that is why we need YOUR HELP to guide these young men on the path to success.

As always, feel free to contact us via this address. We hope to see all of you on November 12 for bonding and brotherhood.

Finals Update

“True scholarship consist in knowing not what things exist, but what they mean; it is not memory but judgment.” — James Russell Lowell
Good evening, readers.  My apologies for not posting sooner; it has been quite a busy month at the Alpha Alpha Delta Lodge.  This week, the week of April 27, is finals week for all students at UGA.  So, I will be delaying the final post of the Spring term one more week, to allow for studying.  Be sure to check back in early May for a complete update on the events at 1120 S. Milledge Ave.  Until then, be well and Go, Dawgs!
